I totally agree! This is definitely one of the best ever movies about WWII. For me, though, it's frighteningly real - especially the scene where they are both in the prison - and I feel drained after I've watched it. Lilli Palmer and William Holden are just so convincing. She is a brilliant actress, and William Holden, well, what can you say? This movie, Sunset Boulevard, Stalag 17, Bridges over Toko-Ri, Network, the list is endless. All fantastic! Thanks for posting.
